THE HISTORY OF THE ORDER

The Order of the Amaranth is a royal Swedish organization modeled on the original society created by Queen Kristina in 1653, the ‘Fraire d’Amarante’.  Dissolved by her envious cousin and reinstated when he past. It is one of Europe’s longest running fraternal orders.
